Town Center Plaza

5400 W Civic Center Drive (about 10800 N)

The Splash Pad is now open Monday - Saturday from 10:00 am - dusk, weather permitting. There is no cost; however you are not able to make reservations for the Splash Pad. Please observe the following:

  • No lifeguard on duty
  • Children under 14 yrs of age must have adult supervision
  • No running on Splash Pad or in stream
  • Swim diaper and plastic diaper cover required for non-potty trained children
  • No pets, alcohol, smoking, glass, diving, skateboarding, bikes, throwing debris in stream
  • No climbing on waterfall rocks or playing in waterfall area

The Park Pavilion Reservation Calendars are posted on Wednesdays at the parks. 7 days advance notice for reservations and cancellations is greatly appreciated.

Highland Glen Park    September (To access the park from the east, please use Knight Ave.  Cedar Hills Blvd. is now one way and does not lead to the park.  To access the park from the west, please use West Park Rd. off of the Alpine Hwy.) Fires are NOT permitted at this park

Park reservations are accepted on an annual basis beginning on the first business day of January each calendar year. Park reservations are only scheduled for May 1st – September 30th, all other months are first-come first-served. Some dates may not be available due to City Events.

    All other parks not listed above are first-come first-served except for Wild Rose Park and Heritage Park (except the baseball field) which are closed to all organized recreation.  Recreation teams are asked to pick up all trash before they leave and to be considerate of neighbors and others using the park.  Park privileges may be lost if problems occur.  Field maintenance and watering should be completed by 2:00 p.m. each day. Watering will not occur on Saturday mornings. Special requests for watering parks will not be accommodated. For more information please contact Emily at Highland City (801) 772-4523 or emily@highlandcity.org

    Highland City is contracted with American Fork Recreation until July 2011 to provide all of your recreation needs. As a resident of Highland you pay “resident” rates for recreation activities.

    Obesity is an epidemic facing millions of Americans and is increasing in drastic numbers each year.  The number of Utahns battling obesity doubled from 10 percent in 1989 to over 20 percent in 2003.  Heart disease has become the number one killer in Utah and last year taxpayers spent $167 per person in medical costs related to obesity.  As a state, we can do better!  That's why the Utah Summer Games and the Check Your Health Partners (IHC, KUTV2 and Utah Department of Health) have created the "Get Active Utah!"
