2016 Utility Rate Study

Highland City provides culinary (drinking) and pressurized irrigation (secondary) water. Pressurized irrigation is available mid-April through mid-October. The system is off during the winter to prevent freezing pipes.
Culinary water is not used in the pressurized irrigation system. As such, the pressurized irrigation water is not drinkable. Residents should take the same precautions they would with any irrigation water that may contain bacteria regularly found in rivers and streams. Do not allow children to play in the water. In most cases, the hose bib attached to the resident's home is connected to the culinary system, and it is recommended that kiddie pools be filled utilizing culinary water.
For after-hours emergencies for water or sewer, call (801) 420-2553.
