About the Council
Highland City operates under a six-member form of government, consisting of the Mayor and five Council Members. Elected officials operate as the policy making and legislative authority for the City. The Mayor and Council Members serve staggered four-year terms and are elected at large. Unless advertised otherwise, City Council meetings are held at 7:00 PM, the first and third Tuesday of each month, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 5400 West Civic Center Drive.
