***Adult entries must be framed in all media categories. Youth/child entries must be framed, matted or mounted on cardstock. Framed artwork must have a wire extended across the back and be securely anchored to a screw-eye on each side of the frame. This accommodates our handling system and ensures the safety of your artwork during the show. Please help us make the registration process run efficiently by doing this before you come to register.***
Awards will be given for first, second, third places, and honorable mention. Additional awards are given overall from the art council, Highland City and for best theme. The Theme is “Our Slice of Paradise”.
There will be awards for the Best of Show winners selected from each category by the judges. The Peoples’ Choice Award will be selected by the viewing public.
There will be an Art Sale held on Friday and Saturday in conjunction with the Art Show. For more information on the Art Sale, please contact Shauna Larson at 801-891-7183.
Artwork in the show will be released on Saturday, Aug 5, from 4 to 6 pm. All artwork must be picked up during this time. A $5 late fee will be applied to those who do not pick up artwork during this time. Late items may be paid for and picked up from the arts council.
Every effort will be made to keep your artwork safe, but please be aware that there is no guarantee due to unforeseen accidents.
