Volunteer
Volunteer at the Highland City Library
The Library thrives on the many volunteer hours worked on its behalf each month. There are a variety of ways to volunteer.
Join the Friends of the Library
The purpose of the Friends of the Library is to promote and support the Library's programs, facilities, materials and employees through fundraising and volunteer efforts.
The Friends of the Library meet monthly to assess needs of the Library and plan to give support.
View more information about the Friends of the Library.
Library Board
The Library Board works to establish a clear mission, strategic plan, and policies for the Library. Board members are appointed annually. Those interested in serving on the Board should fill out a city volunteer application. View more information about the Library Board.
Regular Volunteers
The Library has volunteer opportunities for people ages 14 and older to help with program preparation and other tasks. Those interested in this kind of service should fill out a volunteer application (PDF) and submit it at the Library Circulation Desk. More information is available in our Volunteer Policy (PDF). Please send your finished application to circstaff@highlandcity.org.
