Clarence & Jessie Maria Reid Burgess

Clarence was born January 29, 1886, in Pine Valley, Washington County, Utah Territory to George Martin and Rhoda Ann Dykes Burgess. He served a mission to the Eastern States from May 11, 1909, to September 5, 1911. In the 1910 census Clarence was living in White Pine, Nevada and Jessie, who was born October 3, 1889, to Alexander K. and Elizabeth Ann Mackey Reid was living in Manti, Utah. They were married on June 5, 1912, and had four children: Reid Clarence, Pauline, George Dale and Ann.

In the 1920 census they were living in Alpine and they were living in Highland (Number 55 on the 1958 Highland map - 4670 W 11200 N) when Clarence died on January 10, 1928. Jessie died May 25, 1938, and they are buried in the Alpine City Cemetery. [Find a Grave] [Names in Stone]
