Odekirk

Glen Young & Dorothy May Freez Odekirk

Glen's church record arrived in 1933 along with Melvin David Odekirk, probably a younger brother. Glen was born June 19, 1915, in Duchesne, Utah to George Carlos and Mary Ellen Young Odekirk. He enlisted in the Army January 22, 1941, and was discharged October 25, 1945. He married Dorothy on October 26, 1946. She was born March 28, 1928, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I am unable to locate any children or where else they may have lived.

Glen died August 7, 1961, in Salt Lake City and is buried in the Salt Lake City Cemetery. Dorothy married two other men after Glen; a Mr. Lloyd and a Mr. Kamp. She died March 1, 2006, in Mecosta, Michigan and is buried in the Bostwick Lake Cemetery in Michigan.
