Richard Edward & Sarah Lucinda Wells Skinner
Richard was born June 16, 1872, in Kanosh, Utah Territory to Richard Edward and Permelia Matilda Lott Skinner. Sarah was born August 22, 1879, in Joseph, Utah to James Hattersley and Lydia Lucinda Carter Wells. They married June 7, 1899, in Manti and in 1910 were living in Joseph. In 1920 they were in Holden and moved to Highland before the 1930 census.
They had thirteen children: Aletha, James Edward, Earl, Elva Lucinda, Andrew Lamar, Lydia Louise, Sydney Bertram, Madge, Carl McKay, Ernest L, Grant, Mary Lou, and Grace. While they lived in Highland their oldest son, James lived with them along with his wife, Lenola and three children: Dwaine, Dale, and Elaine. Sarah died July 5, 1950, and Richard died April 19, 1957, in Salt Lake City and they are buried in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
