Afton Marr & Velma Jeffs Payne

Tax records show that this family-owned Number 32 in the late 1950s. Afton was born September 21, 1905, in Mexico to Edward W and Lucy Alice Farr Payne. Velma was born August 12, 1907, in Iona, Idaho to David W and Phoebe Wooley Jeffs. I found no other reference until their marriage on November 30, 1927, and they were living in Provo, Utah in 1930, 1935 and 1940. They had two children: Afton Douglas and Robert.

Afton Marr Payne Afton Marr Payne 2Afton died June 17, 1969, in Salt Lake City; Velma died January 21, 1981, in Murray, Utah and they are buried in the Provo City Cemetery.
