Paul Raymond & Anne Elizabeth Roberts Williams
Paul was born April 18, 1921, in Hinckley, Pine County, Minnesota to John and Sophie Harapet Williams. In 1942, when he registered for the WWII draft, he was a resident of Hinckley, Minnesota. He moved to Utah shortly after that and worked at Geneva Steel. He entered the mink business in 1946 and continued to work at Geneva until 1955 when the mink became profitable enough to support his family. He moved his operation to Highland in about 1961. He and Anne were married on April 20, 1944, and they had three children: Patty, Gordon L. and Lynn Ann. Paul was in the leadership of the Fur Breeders Co-op for 22 years. His mink business was very prosperous and they built a nice home in Highland. Paul died March 17, 1999, and is buried in the Highland City Cemetery. Anne was a charter member of the Alpine Country Club and loved playing golf, which she did until she was 92. She died November 21, 2020, in Highland and is buried beside Paul.
