Claude Wayne & America Belle Boaz Marble
Claude was born July 18, 1908, in Norman, Oklahoma to Hyrum and Julia Belden Marble. Belle was born April 14, 1911, in Vernon, Texas to Charles Harvey and Lillie May Thompson Boaz. How they met is a mystery but they were married July 3, 1926, in Norman, when Belle was just fifteen. In 1930 they were still in Norman, living with his father but in 1935 and 1940 they were Oklahoma City.


They moved to Highland (Number 3 on the 1958 Highland map) around 1949 - 51 and lived here a short time. They had three children: Betty, Marjorie May, and Gerald Lee. Claude was in the furniture business and belonged to the Masonic Order.
Belle died March 31, 1985, in Fillmore, Utah and Claude died September 1, 2001, in Yucaipa, California. They are buried in the Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, California.
