Water Conservation

Did you know that Governor Herbert has declared a state of emergency for Utah because of drought conditions? Unfortunately, previous studies have shown that Highland residents use almost double the amount of water necessary for outdoor watering.

Because of drought conditions and our overwatering, we are using up the limited amount of storage that we have in our reservoirs. We’re anticipating a warm winter with low moisture, which means all Highland City storage will be gone this year if we don’t make a change.
