Robert and Esther Irene Roundy Hartshorn:  Robert was born March 5, 1884, in Winter Quarters, Utah Territory to David and Mary Ann McNicoll Battes Hartshorn.  The family was not listed in the 1900 census nor can I find them in 1910 but in 1918 when Robert registered for the WWI draft he was in Mammoth, Utah (near Eureka) working at the mine and in 1920 they were still there.  Esther was born November 27, 1899, in Benson, Utah to Samuel H. and Eugenia Elmyra Taylor Roundy (q.v.).  They were married December 17, 1919, and moved to Highland in 1921.  They had four children: unnamed baby boy who died at birth, Robert, Beth and Leon.
In 1930 they were living in Lehi and in 1940 were in American Fork, where Robert operated a grocery store at about 3rd East and State.  Their son, Leon, became a school teacher and an LDS author of note.  Esther died November 25, 1952, in American Fork.  On May 16, 1957, Robert married Leah Lloyd in the Salt Lake Temple.  She was the daughter of Ernest and Annie Richards Lloyd, born on September 4, 1911.  Robert died April 20, 1983, in American Fork and Leah died June 18, 2000.  All three are buried in the Lehi City Cemetery.
