Afton Marr and Velma Jeffs Payne:  Tax records show that this family owned #32 in the late 1950’s.  Afton was born September 21, 1905, in Mexico to Edward W. and Lucy Alice Farr Payne.  Velma was born August 12, 1907, in Iona, Idaho to David W. and Phoebe Wooley Jeffs.  I found no other reference until their marriage on November 30, 1927, and they were living in Provo, Utah in 1930, 1935 and 1940.  They had two children: Afton Douglas and Robert.
Afton died June 17, 1969, in Salt Lake City; Velma died January 21, 1981, in Murray, Utah and they are buried in the Provo City Cemetery.
