Daniel William and Lucy Callis Williams Wilde:  Their membership in the LDS Church arrived in 1920 and they were here for more than ten years (#100 on the 1958 Highland map).  They were in Heiner, Carbon County, Utah for the 1920 census, Highland in 1930, and in the 1940 census were in American Fork but living on the “North Alpine Highway” which was where they lived in Highland. 
Daniel was born May 1, 1870, in Coalville, Utah Territory to John and Elsa Maria Raback Wilde.  Lucy was born November 8, 1872, in Liverpool, Cheshire, England to John Callis and Charlotte Susanna Quilliom Williams.  They were married July 13, 1892, and had six sons:  Rodney C., John Orisel (Orval), Eldred J., Paul C., Sheldon E., and Austin Woodrow.  Only the four youngest children lived in Highland.  Paul was a Sunday School teacher in 1925 at the age of nineteen.   In 1939 Austin was married and his wife, Margaret was living here also.  Daniel died November 23, 1947, in Salt Lake City, Lucy died March 22, 1955, also in Salt Lake and they are buried in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
