Highland City 2019 Municipal Elections
Notice of 2019 Primary Election
In accordance with Section 20A-5-101 (4) of the Utah State Code, notice is hereby given.

A Primary Election will be held in Highland City on Tuesday, August 13, 2019.

All registered voters, from any Highland precinct may cast their vote for up to three candidates in one of the following ways:

  • Mail it in (must be postmarked no later than August 12, 2019)
  • Drop it off at any Official Ballot Drop Box through 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 (Highland City has a drop box on the north side of the building)
  • Drop it off at Utah County Elections Office during regular business hours (Mon – Fri 8:00 am – 5:00 pm) through August 12, 2019
  • Drop it off at any Election Day Service Center on Primary Election Day
 
There will be an Election Day Service Center at the Highland City Offices, 5400 W Civic Center Drive, Highland, UT  84003. The service center will open at 7:00 am and close at 8:00 pm.

If you did not receive a ballot, need assistance with the Vote by Mail process, or want to drop off your ballot in person, you may do so at any Election Day Service Center. For a list of all centers go to www.UtahCounty.gov/Elections or call (801) 851-8128.

To become a registered voter or update your registration go to Vote.Utah.Gov or call (801) 538-1041.

***Please note***  Kelly Branan, Anthony S. Eardley, and Tina Grundmann have withdrawn their candidacy. Due to printing deadlines, their names will still show on the ballot, however, any votes cast for these candidates will not be counted.***

***Please note that due to printing deadlines, Kelly Branan, Tina Grundman and Anthony S. Eardley's names will appear on the ballot, however, they have since withdrawn from the election after ballots were printed. Any votes for Kelly, Tina, or Anthony will not be counted.***

Registered voters will be eligible to vote in the Highland City Primary Election by submitting their completed ballot in the mail or at the drop box on the north side of Highland City Offices.

A voter service center will be open at Highland City Offices, 5400 W Civic Center Drive, Highland, UT on August 13, 2019 from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm to assist with the Vote by Mail process and Ballot Drop Off. For more information, call (801) 772-4505.

Voter Registration Information
Please be sure you are registered to vote! 

In order to become registered, you must:
  • be a citizen of the United States
  • have resided in Utah at least 30 days immediately before the next election
  • be at least 18 years old on or before the next election
